Anthony Long and his family are getting settled in their new home made possible through the Samantha’s House Foundation. The family is now enjoying the comforts of a space that was specifically designed for their unique needs. The design of the home includes widened hallways, large turning radiuses, roll in shower, low threshold doors, elevator and a specialized track system to assist in moving Anthony from his bed into his shower.
It is through this attention to detail and working to meet the specific needs of the individual that Anthony can now be fully integrated into all the things happening with the family. He will now be able to experience life and freedom that he was unable to in their previous living conditions. This is one of the key goals when Samantha’s House adopts a family to help.
One very special piece of this project was the passion and creativity that our interior design teams put into making this house a true home for the Long family. Each space in the home had a different design team that worked together to furnish and decorate. Their passion for helping this family have an incredible space shows through in the finished product. None of the design of the home or the interior decorating would have been possible without the extraordinary commitment of our homebuilder, Jim Parsetich of Parsetich Custom Homes. Jim combined with his dedicated trade partners worked together to construct this home with care and the highest levels of quality for the Long family.
